I seem to be discovering incredible new blogs on a weekly basis to add to my daily reading list. My latest find, The Kids Should See This, is no exception.
Found via that very site is the heart-warming story of Ron Fugelseth and his son who launched the little one’s favourite toy train up into the stratosphere. Carried up by a weather balloon and armed only with a camera and GPS phone, the train travelled 18miles upwards before falling back to earth.
You can almost feel the happiness of the child beaming with delight when the train is found 27miles away, a lovely project and video story. And what an amazing way to teach kids about science!
I also love the fantastic little animations and expressions added to the toy’s face!
