Being the geeky bicycle loving kind of person I am, I often won’t throw away old and punctured inner tubes thinking that one day I’ll find a use for them.

Well now I have.  A zip and some, albeit wonky, stitching later and ta daaa!  Prototype P1 is born.

Once I get my hands on a sewing machine to firm up the edges and fine tune the handcrafted aesthetic it’ll be a perfectly useable accessory.

I’ve also got plans for prototyping a mens wallet and, with a larger vehicle inner tube, a (hand) bag.  All updates will follow in due course so keep tuned folks!

    Want. Now please.

Might glue work better at keeping it all together perhaps? Some sort of stretchy glue…?

Possibly Mathew, it’s like you’ve read my mind – it’s one of the alternatives I’m exploring in prototype vers2!

That’s very cool Garaldinho. Like it a lot.
