Lummo Blocks

Regular readers of this blog will know that I’m a huge Tetris fan, and I’m no stranger to posting the odd article or two about it.  So it’ll come as no surprise that here’s one more.

A blend of modern technology fused with the arcade classic has recently popped up in Madrid.  Media Lab Prado have turned the original game into a public art project in order to “create an interaction between passers by and the public space of the plaza.”

Two players jump about in front of a huge display, one controlling the trajectory and the other rotation.  It’s playing Tetris whilst getting exercise, a kind of Tetricise, if you will.

I’m most definitely jealous, please bring it London?
